Counselling

Counselling provides a space to explore past or present difficulties that may be impacting our daily lives. Counselling allows us to become more self-aware which can enable us to feel empowered to make manageable changes to our lifestyle.

My role is not to advise but to listen and provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space, where difficulties can be explored collaboratively and insight can be gained, enabling the client to consider positive alternatives, which in turn empowers them to make necessary changes.

I provide both short and long term counselling. I offer face-to-face, online or walk and talk therapy. Counselling sessions last 50 minutes per week, they will be contracted for, and the number of sessions required will be discussed at the initial assessment and reviewed regularly.

I aim to provide affordable counselling so that it can be accessed by all. Student concessions are available.

Face to face sessions take place in my garden office or if disabled access is required, I have access to a rented room. Both are located near Reigate.

Walk & Talk Therapy

"Science is proving what we have always known intuitively, that nature is good for our psychological, emotional and physical health." Jordan & Hinds, 2016.

Walk & Talk Therapy offers an alternative way of working therapeutically, benefitting certain client groups. It provides a less formal environment, while moving and observing the beauty of nature and the constant changes taking place. It has been proven that being in nature has a positive effect on our mood and often nature mirrors the seasons of our lives and offers healing. The physical act of moving forward can help us to become 'unstuck'.

Routes can be discussed and may vary depending on accessibility. The client dictates the pace, when to stop or be seated outside.
